V'Spirit Lan Ha Bay Cruise
Overview
V'Spirit Cruises has been sailing Halong Bay since 2012, running two purpose-built wooden junks styled after traditional Vietnamese boats but fitted out with modern comforts. Every cabin has a sea-view window and a private bathroom, and the fleet feels closer to a boutique hotel afloat than a typical tour boat. The name itself is a nod to "Vietnamese Spirit" — the operator's stated aim is to give guests a genuine taste of local life and hospitality, not just a scenic ride through the bay. Guests are picked up from hotels in and around Hanoi's Old Quarter, and the cruise runs as either a 2-day-1-night or 3-day-2-night itinerary through Lan Ha Bay.
