Overview

Hera Grand Luxury Cruise offers a more intimate way to experience Ha Long Bay, with only 13 cabins and generous living spaces designed for privacy and relaxation. From traditional wooden details to floor-to-ceiling windows, private balconies and spacious suites, the cruise puts the bay scenery at the center of the onboard experience. Some of its premium suites reach 60m², with private terraces and bathtubs overlooking the limestone landscape.

Rather than focusing only on sightseeing, Hera Grand combines time on the water with a range of relaxed experiences on board. Guests can enjoy Vietnamese dining, sunset moments on the sundeck, Tai Chi, cooking activities and wellness services before or after exploring destinations such as Sung Sot Cave, Titop Island and Pearl Farm.

Heaven and Earth Suites offer generous space, private terraces and bathtubs, while Ocean Suites feature private balconies. Second - deck cabins feature large glass windows, allowing guests to enjoy Ha Long Bay views directly from the bed or bathtub. A spacious sundeck, spa room, in-room herbal foot bath and relaxed onboard activities create a cruise experience focused on both sightseeing and unwinding.

Detailed Itinerary

07:45–08:30: Pick-up from hotels in Hanoi Old Quarter for guests booking the cruise transfer.

11:30–12:00: Arrive at Tuan Chau Marina and complete check-in at the cruise lounge.

12:00: Board Hera Grand Luxury Cruise and enjoy a welcome drink and cold towel before settling into your cabin. The cruise begins its journey through Ha Long Bay, with lunch served on board as you admire the limestone islands and seascape.

14:30–16:00: Visit Sung Sot Cave, one of the most impressive caves in Ha Long Bay. Walk through its limestone chambers and discover striking stalactites and stalagmites.

17:30–18:30: Return to the cruise for sunset time on the sundeck. Enjoy traditional Vietnamese tea or coffee and join a cooking class to learn how to make Vietnamese floating rice cakes. Happy Hour is also available during this period.

19:30: Enjoy dinner outdoors when weather conditions allow, or dine in the onboard restaurant.

21:30: Relax on the sundeck and take in the nighttime scenery. Optional evening experiences include squid fishing, the “Footsteps of Heritage” traditional costume show, drinks at the Sky Bar, or an in-room herbal foot bath. Spa and massage services are available at an additional charge.

06:15: Start the morning with a Tai Chi session on the sundeck.

06:30–07:00: Enjoy a light breakfast with coffee, tea, fresh fruit, cake, Vietnamese pho and an egg station.

07:30: Visit a Ha Long Bay pearl farm and learn about the traditional process of cultivating oysters and harvesting pearls. The visit offers an insight into the craftsmanship and patience behind local pearl production.

08:30–09:30: Return to the cruise for some free time. Relax in your cabin, enjoy the complimentary herbal foot bath, sunbathe on the sundeck or take photos of the bay.

09:30: Check out and leave your luggage outside the cabin for the crew to collect.

10:00: Enjoy an early buffet lunch while the cruise prepares for arrival.

11:00: Arrive at Tuan Chau Marina. Guests using the bus transfer can continue with a short cycling experience around Tuan Chau Island after disembarkation.

Under 5 years old: 1 children free of charge, sharing the same room with parents, 2nd children will be charged 75% of adult price
From 5 to 10 years old: 75% of adult price when sharing the same room with parents, 2nd children will be charged 100% of adult price
From 11 years old and above: 100% of adult price

The Hera Classic Boutique Cruise is a 2 days 1 night cruise on Ha Long Bay, boarding at Tuan Chau Marina around midday and checking out the next morning.

The cruise has 19 cabins, including Deluxe cabins, balcony rooms and suites, with larger 45 m2 suites such as a Triple Suite and a Family Suite for bigger groups.

The price includes the overnight stay, four meals as specified in the itinerary, welcome drink, tea and coffee, kayaking or a bamboo boat at the pearl farm, Sung Sot Cave, Titop Island, a Vietnamese cooking class and a traditional costume fashion show.

Drinks not listed in the itinerary, transportation and transfers, spa and massage treatments, tips and personal expenses are not included in the price.

Cancellations made 14 days or more before check-in are subject to a 100% charge, and cancellations made 7 days before check-in are subject to a 50% charge.

Children under 5 stay free sharing a cabin with parents, with a 75% charge for a second child. Children aged 5 to 10 pay 75% of the adult price sharing a cabin, with a 100% charge for a second child. Children aged 11 and above pay the full adult price.
