Dora Cruise brings a romantic, intimate atmosphere to exploring Halong Bay and Lan Ha Bay, built on the operator's two decades of hands-on experience in Vietnamese tourism. The vessel houses 22 cabins, each designed with expansive windows and private balconies that frame unobstructed views of the surrounding limestone karsts and emerald waters. Beyond scenic cruising, the itinerary weaves in cultural immersion—kayaking through centuries-old caves, stopping at Viet Hai fishing village to experience rural Vietnamese life, and unwinding with evening cocktails on the water. Details Itinerary

08:30 – 9:15: Our tour guide pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter. (if you use our limousine bus or private car)

09:20: Departure to Halong Bay. You will have 1 short break during the way before arrive in Tuan Chau marina.

12:00 – 12:15: Arrive to Tuan Chau harbor.

12:30 – 13:15: Transferred by boat to Dora Cruise. Welcome to Dora Cruise and enjoy welcome drink, meet the captain, crew to get a brief introduction about cruise and safety guidelines. Check-in your cabin.

13:15 – 13:30: Enjoy Vietnamese seafood and vegetarian lunch, while cruising in the magnificent Halong Bay, admiring the fascinating rock formations in the bay.

– Continue cruising through Con Vit islet (Duck Islet), Thumb islet and Gia Luan Harbor where belonged to Cat Ba area.

– Discover lagoon natural area belonged to Lan Ha bay. Drop anchor for swimming or just simply sunbathe on our cruise (private, wild and fresh air).

– Heading back toward the sleeping area

– Do kayaking and swimming at Ba Trai Dao Islet or Tra Bau area where

17.30: Come back to our Dora Cruise and participate in our sunset party with fruit, cake and wine. Take photos and relax

18:00 – 18:15: Join cooking class guided directly by Chef of Dora Halong Cruise. You have chance to practice Vietnamese traditional dishes such as spring roll or famous cuisine of Vietnam

19:15: Time for dinner enjoying special seafood and Vietnamese typical food on the cruise.

21:00: Evening entertainments: play game on the cruise: cards game, chess, listen to music, squid fishing, relaxing and overnight on the Dora Cruise.

06.00: Early morning sun risers can enjoy Tai Chi lesson on sundeck.

07.15 : Morning view of bay's landscape with a cup of tea or coffee. Have breakfast.

8.15: You will be at reception to go visit Dark & Bright Cave by the tender (the transfer boat) to the small floating house and there you can have opportunity to explore the cave on local bamboo boat (rowing by the locals).

9:30 – 10:15: Come back to Dora Cruise and check-out from the private cabin and enjoy a fantastic cruise on the bay.

10:30: Have early lunch at the cruise before check out

11:30: Dora Cruise are landing near Tuan Chau Harbor and transfer guest to Tuan Chau, say goodbye to Halong Bay and finish the cruise

12:15: Return to gate 35, Tuan Chau marina and travel with our limousine bus to Hanoi Old Quarter

13:50 – 14:00: Stopover in Hai Duong province to relax.

15:30 – 16:00: Arrive in Hanoi

Cancellation by Customer

More than 21 days before check-in: FREE of charge
From 10 to 20 days before check-in: 50% of total rates
From 4 to 9 days before check-in: 70% of total rates
Less than 3 days before check-in & no Show: 100% of total rates

Cancellation due to bad weather

If the cancellation be announced by the Management Board of Halong Bay, depend on the timing of the cancellation, following policies will be applied:

Before departure from Hanoi to Halong Bay (none of the services has been used): 100% refund.
During the trip (some services have been used: transfer, lunch, day trip, hotel in Halong, etc.): used services will be charged, the rest will be refunded.
The trip be cut down from 2 nights to 1 night, tourists will be charged a 2 days/1 night trip, plus other used services, the rest will be refunded.
The final cost will be confirmed by your consultant via email. In all cases, please contact us directly for any urgent help. We are here to support you with all of our best!

Children Policy

Infant (0-4 yo): Stay for free if using existing bedding.
Child (5-11 yo): Will be surcharged to stay in a cabin with an extra bed or sharing the bed with parents.
Child (>12 yo) and above are considered adults.

Notes for guests

All cruise operators are under the management and operation of the Ha Long Bay Management Authority. They reserve the rights to monitor under weather conditions and make decisions for sailing permission daily. Their decision comes at any time of the day and this will be informed via phone to the cruise operators.. We will be in charge of informing all passengers if there is any urgent weather issue occured.
