Overview

Diana Cruise is a 95 meter overnight cruise with 56 balcony suites and room for up to 168 guests. It sails from Tuan Chau Harbor into Lan Ha Bay and launched in October 2025. Every suite has a private balcony or terrace, a bathtub and Starlink internet, and there are no inside cabins on board.

The 2D1N route covers Bright Cave by bamboo boat or kayak, a swim at Tra Bau and a cooking class before dinner. The next morning starts with Tai Chi on the sundeck. Book Diana through Beka Travel, or compare it with other Lan Ha Bay overnight cruise options.

Detailed Itinerary

07:40-08:30: Pick-up in Hanoi (optional)
Guests who book the transfer are picked up at their Old Quarter hotel. Guests staying outside the Old Quarter meet at Hanoi Opera House.

11:45: Arrival at Tuan Chau Harbor
The car drops you at Tuan Chau International Marina.

11:45-12:00: Boarding
A short transfer takes you to the cruise for a welcome drink, a safety briefing and suite check-in.

13:00: Lunch on the 4th deck
Lunch is served as the cruise heads into Lan Ha Bay.

14:00: Cruising Lan Ha Bay
You have free time on deck as the cruise sails past the limestone islands.

15:00: Bright Cave
You explore Bright Cave by kayak or on a bamboo boat rowed by local fishermen. Towels and life jackets are provided.

16:45: Swimming at Tra Bau
The cruise stops at Tra Bau for a swim in the bay.

17:00-19:00: Sunset pool party
Fruit and drinks are served by the pool on the sundeck, and tea is served on the 5th deck from 17:30.

18:00: Cooking class
The chef shows you how to make Vietnamese dishes such as spring rolls.

19:30-20:45: Dinner
Dinner is a seafood set menu.

21:00-22:00: Evening on board
You can try squid fishing, have a drink at the bar, book a spa treatment, watch the stars or join a Dong Ho folk painting workshop.

06:30: Morning Tai Chi
The day starts with Tai Chi on the sundeck, or with tea, coffee or juice at sunrise.

07:00-08:00: Light breakfast
Pastries, tea, coffee and juice are served in the restaurant.

08:00: Tea ceremony
You can join the tea ceremony or relax on the 6th deck.

09:00: Check-out
Guests leave their luggage outside the door, return the key and settle any extras at reception on the 1st deck.

09:20-10:30: Brunch on the 4th deck
Brunch is served while the cruise heads back to Tuan Chau.

10:30: Return to port
You leave the cruise at Tuan Chau.

11:15-11:30: Return to Hanoi
Guests with a transfer leave for Hanoi, with a 15-minute stop in Hai Duong.

15:00-15:20: Arrival in Hanoi
The car drops you back in Hanoi.

11-30 days before check-in: 15% of the total price
7-10 days before check-in: 30% of the total price
Less than 7 days before check-in, or no-show: 100% of the total price
Cancellations must be sent in writing by email. Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days.

Children Policy

Under 4 years: free for 1 child sharing the cabin with 2 adults. Only 1 free child is allowed per cabin.
4-11 years: 75% of the adult rate
12 years and older: full adult rate

Before Boarding

Boarding is at Tuan Chau International Marina at 11:45.
Check-out: 09:00. Leaving the cruise: 10:30. Back in Hanoi: around 15:00.
In bad weather, the Ha Long Bay Management Board can cancel trips on the day. Guests are then offered another arrangement or a refund under the cruise policy.

Yes. All 56 suites have a private balcony or terrace, and there are no inside cabins. The Ha Long Suite and Lan Ha Suite (55 m²) have a private terrace at the stern. Every suite also has a bathtub and Starlink internet.

Cancellation is free more than 30 days before check-in. The fee is 15% from 11 to 30 days before check-in, 30% from 7 to 10 days, and 100% within 7 days or for a no-show. Cancellations must be sent in writing by email.
