Details Itinerary
20:00: Our driver picks you up at your hotel in the Hanoi Old Quarter.
21:00: Depart for Ha Giang. You will travel in comfort on a high-quality sleeper bus.
03:30: Arrive at our office in Ha Giang City. We provide a complimentary room for you to freshen up and rest for a few hours, ensuring you are energized for the adventure ahead.
07:30: Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the local restaurant.
08:30: Begin the spectacular loop. We navigate the winding Bac Sum Pass and reach the Heaven’s Gate in Quan Ba, where you can capture the iconic view of the Twin Mountains. Continue through the majestic Can Ty Pass with its dramatic cliff-side roads.
12:00: Savor a traditional local lunch in Yen Minh town.
14:00: Conquer the famous 9-turn Tham Ma Pass. Explore Sung La Valley, famous for its historic stone-fenced houses, including the renowned "Pao’s House." Visit the H’mong King’s Palace, a magnificent architectural landmark built in a unique blend of Chinese and Hmong styles.
17:00: Check into your hotel in Dong Van Town. Take some time to wander through the ancient Old Quarter, a bustling trading hub with rich history.
19:30: Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant and soak in the tranquil atmosphere of the mountain town.
07:00: Breakfast at the hotel. (On Sunday, we highly recommend visiting the vibrant local market).
08:00: Journey to the Lung Cu Flag Tower, the northernmost point of Vietnam. Along the way, visit Lo Lo Chai village, home to the Lo Lo ethnic minority, known for its well-preserved traditional houses and welcoming locals.
11:30: Return to Dong Van for lunch.
13:30: Experience the highlight of the tour: Ma Pi Leng Pass. At an altitude of over 1,200m, this pass offers the most dramatic mountain vistas in Vietnam. Stop at Panorama Coffee for a breathtaking view, then descend to the Nho Que River for a serene boat trip through the majestic Tu San Canyon.
16:00: Travel to your chosen homestay (Meo Vac or Du Gia). If staying in Du Gia, enjoy a relaxing walk or a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear natural waterfall.
19:00: Experience an authentic dinner with your host family, sharing stories and local delicacies in a warm, cozy setting.
07:00: Enjoy breakfast at the homestay and take in the fresh morning air of the mountains.
08:30: Begin the return journey. Stop at Lung Tam Village, famous for its traditional H’mong hemp weaving techniques. Continue to the peaceful Nam Dam Village, where you can learn about the unique earthen houses and medicinal herbs of the Dao people.
13:00: Enjoy a final local lunch in Quan Ba town.
15:30: Arrive back at our office in Ha Giang City. Relax, enjoy a welcome tea, and prepare for your departure.
16:00/21:00: Board your selected bus (Limousine or Sleeper) to return to Hanoi, concluding your unforgettable Ha Giang adventure.

- From 1-4 years old: Free of charge, sharing the service with parents (Surcharged 15 usd/seat if request a private seat for child from 1-4 years old)
- From 5-8 years old: 75% of charge (Appy for 1 child, the second child will be charged 100% of adults)
- From 9 years old and up : 100% of adults
Notes for guests
- Self-drivers must possess an International Driving Permit (1968 Convention) with a valid A1 motorcycle endorsement.
- While the journey involves significant time on the road, it is designed for a moderate fitness level. Frequent stops for meals and sightseeing are integrated into the schedule to ensure you remain comfortable throughout the trip
- Roads are generally well-maintained. While April and May are typically dry, mountain routes can occasionally become slippery after rain, so we always advise driving with caution.
What to bring?
Pack lightweight, breathable clothing, sturdy walking shoes, sun protection (sunscreen, sunglasses, hat), and insect repellent. A camera is highly recommended to document the spectacular mountain scenery.
