Cat Ba 2 days 1 night is a perfect tour to explore the most beautiful places in Cat Ba island and Lan Ha Bay, guests will have chance to visit the Cannon Fort, Lan Ha Bay with floating houses, kayaking through hidden lagoon and cruising all along the limestone karst of Lan Ha bay.
07:30 Picking up from the hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter area (If you book the bus with us)and departing for Cat Ba island. On the way, we could make some stops for short break. Transfered by a ferry from Hai Phong city to Cat Ba island and drop off at hotel/homestay.
12 :00 Arrive at your hotel in Cat Ba town, check in your room( if the room is available, normal check in time is at 2pm).
12:30 Lunch will be served at our restaurant with 5-6 Vietnamese local dishes
Free leisure: Guests can explore Cat Ba town or go to the beach by walking.
14:00 The bus picks you up at the meeting point in Cat Ba town, on the romantic cross-island road and stops at Quan Y cave after 15 minutes of journey.
Quan Y CAVE is a miniature hospital located in the heart of the mountain, built in 1963-1965 during the anti-American resistance war, consisting of 3 floors and 17 separate rooms with many different functions.
You will admire the unique infrastructure architecture and creative ability of the army and people during the resistance war.
The bus picks you up on the journey to visit Trung Trang cave , this is a natural cave with many iridescent stalactites, in the cool cave with the sound of water dripping from the stalactites on the ceiling, the wingspan of the flocks. Bats, through a length of 300m from this side door through the mountain bed to the other door, you come out to the trunk road.
Goodbye Trung Trang Cave, continue your journey to visit Cat Ba National Park, to the garden gate, you walk 800m into the Kim Giao forest, follow the stone steps and forest trail to the top of Ngu Lam, where you can observe the majestic beauty of the primeval mountains and forests of Cat Ba archipelago (time to go and return about 2 hours).
In the forest you will hear the symphony of the mountains and forests: birdsong, chirping insects, calls of animals such as weasel, squirrel, monkey... Then you will return to Cat Ba town. , end of the journey.
18:00 Dinner will be served Free leisure in the evening: walking around Cat Ba town, enjoy coffee, street food...
8:30 - 8h50: Our bus will pick you up at your hotel in Cat Ba town along the way to Ben Beo Pier.
8:50: We will arrive at Ben Beo Pier and our tour guide will give you the entrance tickets for Lan Ha Bay and HaLong bay. The tickets are included in the tour price.
9:00: Board the boat to Lan Ha bay. At first the boat will sail around Lan Ha Bay. The bay itself is spectacular, with towers of limestone rocks rising from the sea, passing by Cai Beo Fishing Village which is the most traditional fishing village in the north of Vietnam. It is also one of the biggest floating villages in Cat Ba and continues sailing to thousands of karst towers with many unique shapes (chopsticks and seals).
11:00: We will discover the lagoon natural area belonging to Lan Ha bay by kayaking through Dark and Bright Caves, tunnels, and archways. This is the most beautiful lagoon in Lan Ha Bay for kayaking activities and also the conservation area. If you are lucky you will see Cat Ba langurs (Golden-headed monkey)
12:30: The boat drops anchor at the border of Lan Ha Bay and Ha Long bay for lunch. The lunch is freshly cooked and served in Vietnamese style by the local crews on board (vegetarian dishes for a choice). Enjoy lunch while cruising through magnificent Halong Bay, admiring the fascinating rock formations in the bay.
13:30: Afterwards, the boat continues to sail off Southern Ha Long bay
14:30: Swimming and jumping from the boat at Ba Trai Dao Beach which is very natural, remote, quiet and less-touristy. We can discover the temple beach, more lagoons and arches.
15:00: After swimming, we will visit a local fish farm where you will see how local fishermen live on the water and how they farm the fish. In the meantime, join us for a cooking class – an exciting activity to experience some of Vietnam's most enticing traditional dishes.
15:30: Our boat will be cruising back to the pier. Enjoy the magical sunset with local drinks as the boat comes back to the harbor.
16:00 - 16:15: Drop you off at harbor, gets on the bus to Hanoi
