Itinerary

7:30. Picking up from the hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter area (If you book the bus with us) and departing for Cat Ba island. On the way, we make some stops for a short break. Transferred by a ferry from Hai Phong city to Cat Ba island and keep going to the Ben Beo Pier

11:30. We will arrive at Ben Beo pier on Cat Ba island. The pier for fishman and tourist boats to visit the Lan Ha Bay, just 2km from the town.

12:00-12:30. We will pick you up at Ben Beo harbor and transfer by fast canoe to our lovely homestay in Viet Hai village. The Village is on Cat Ba island, around 10 kilometers away from Cat Ba town. its position in the midst of Cat Ba’s jungle, meaning that it’s surrounded by lush forests, mountains and picturesque scenery.

Afternoon. Following our tour guide you will do trekking and hiking in Navi Peak to see the overview of Cat Ba national park. If we have time we can climb to the top of the mountain for a panoramic view of Lan Ha bay, Ha Long bay and Cat Ba national park.

18:30. Enjoy local dinner at our restaurant.

After that, Our tour guide will take you on a night-time kayak on Lan Ha Bay to see Bioluminescent plankton sparkling and the local village activities at night

Overnight at Lan homestay.

8:00. Enjoy the breakfast at our restaurant

9:00. Our golf car will pick you up from Viet Hai village to Viet Hai harbor, welcome aboard. Boarding the Boat to Lan Ha bay. At first the boat was sailing around Lan Ha Bay. The bay itself is spectacular, with towers of limestone rocks rising from the sea. Transfer by tender

11:00: We will discover the lagoon natural area belonging to Lan Ha bay by kayaking through Dark and Bright Caves, tunnels, and archways. This is the most beautiful lagoon in Lan Ha Bay for kayaking activities and also the conservation area. If you are lucky you will see Cat Ba langurs (Golden-headed monkey)

12:30: The boat drops anchor at the border of Lan Ha Bay and Ha Long bay for lunch. The lunch is freshly cooked and served in Vietnamese style by the local crews on board (vegetarian dishes for a choice). Enjoy lunch while cruising through magnificent Halong Bay, admiring the fascinating rock formations in the bay.

13:30: Afterwards, the boat continues to sail off Southern Ha Long bay

14:40: Time to check-in our cruise.

15.00 – 17.00: Explore the magnificent quiet bay by kayaking or just relaxing on wild beach on the island

17.30 – 19.15: Back to junk for refreshing and enjoying your relaxing time on the sundeck and having dinner on board. After dinner: Relaxing on the sundeck or enjoying some drinks at the bar.

Overnight on board

8:00. Enjoy breakfast in the fresh air and peaceful beauty of the Bay then go to the top deck - catch a perfect time to take some of your best snapshots of the day.

10:30. The final stage of your trip is to be taken through the mysterious caves and amongst the remote islets

12:00. Back to the harbor and take a bus to Hanoi or your next destination.
