Day 1: Hanoi – Viet Hai Village - Navi Peak - Plankton Bioluminescent Night Kayak (Lunch, Dinner) April 21, 2024

07h30: Picking up from the hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter area (If you book the bus with us) and departing for Cat Ba island. On the way, we could make some stops for short break. Transfered by a ferry from Hai Phong city to Cat Ba island and keep going to the Ben Beo Pier

11h30 : We will arrive Ben Beo pier in Cat Ba island. The pier for fishman and tourist boat to visit the Lan Ha Bay, just 2km from the town.

12h-12h30 : We will pick you up at Ben Beo harbor and transfer by fast canoe to our lovely homestay in Viet Hai village. The Village is on Cat Ba island, around 10 kilometers away from Cat Ba town. its position in the midst of Cat Ba’s jungle, meaning that it’s surrounded by lush forests, mountains and picturesque scenery.

Afternoon : Following our tour guide you will do trekking and hiking in Navi Peak to see the overview of Catba national park.If we have time we can climb to the top of the mountain for a panoramic view of Lan Ha bay, Halong bay and catba national park.

6:30 PM: Enjoy local dinner at our restaurant.

After that, Our tour guide will take you on a night-time kayak on Lan Ha Bay to see Bio luminescent plankton sparkling and the local village activities at night.

Day 2: Discover Lan Ha Bay Full Day By Boat (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) April 22, 2024

7h30AM : Enjoy the breakfast at our restaurant

8:30 Our golf car will pick you up from Viet Hai village to Viet Hai harbour, welcome aboard.

Boarding the Boat to Lan Ha bay, At first the boat was sailing around Lan Ha Bay. The bay itself is spectacular, with towers of limestone rocks rising from the sea, passing by Cai Beo Fishing Village which is the most traditional fishing village in the north of Vietnam. It is also one of the biggest floating villages in Cat Ba and continue sailing to thousands of karst towers with many unique shapes (chopstick and seals).

10:30 Discover lagoon natural area belonged to Lan Ha bay by Kayaking through Dark and Bright Caves, tunnels, and archways. This is the conservation area and if you are lucky you will see Cat Ba langurs (Golden headed monkey)

12:30 Boat drops the anchor at Ong Cam islet for sumptuous traditional

Enjoy Vietnamese local food and vegetarian lunch, while cruising in the magnificent Halong Bay, admiring the fascinating rock formations in the bay.

13:30 Afterwards, boat continues to sail off Southern Ha Long bay, passing by Dau Be Island, Vung Vieng fishing village, Le Virgin arch and The Kite arch.

14: 30 Kayaking, Swim and Relax at Ba Trai Dao Beach which is very natural, remote, quiet and less-touristy, discover the temple beach, more lagoons and arches by kayak

15:30 Enjoy the magical sunset as the boat travels back to the harbor

16:00 : Our golf car will transfer you back to Viet Hai village

Day 3: Lan Ha Bay- Cat Ba Town- Hanoi (Breakfast) April 23, 2024

Breakfast will be served at our restaurant from 7-9AM

9:30 You will be picked up by our golf car to Viet Hai habour to go back Cat Ba town

10h45 Whilst cruising back you can enjoy a delightful lunch.

11h45 We return to the quay side in the south of the bay, where our visitors disembark.

12h00 We bid farewell at the port, this is the end of the program. We hope you have enjoyed your time with us and wish you a safe onward journey.

12h30 Back to your drop-off point in Cat Ba.

Finish the tour, you can take the bus to Hanoi or your next destination.

Had an awesome time on Cat Ba Island with Thanh and Chilly while Jerry organized the logistics off site. The team helped us catch buses and ferries from Hanoi all the way to Lan Homestay. Day 1 consisted a hike up Navy Peak to a great viewpoint of Halong Bay, led by Thanh who took great pictures and videos along the way. Had an awesome time on Cat Ba Island with Thanh and Chilly while Jerry organized the logistics off site. The team helped us catch buses and ferries from Hanoi all the way to Lan Homestay. Day 1 consisted a hike up Navy Peak to a great viewpoint of Halong Bay, led by Thanh who took great pictures and videos along the way. Home cooked dinner was delicious and we went next door to have some homemade “happy water” with locals, it was a fun and friendly atmosphere. The second day consisted of a Halong Bay boat tour with about 30 people. A guide led us kayaking in the morning then we a big lunch on the boat and free time after lunch to swim, relax, and kayak more. The water was a little dirty (sadly some trash spread throughout the bay) in some places but overall clean enough to swim. That night we went back out onto kayaks to see the bioluminescent plankton which was incredible. The kayaking was mostly DIY and a headlamp would have been nice to explore a little further (we just stayed around the dock). Day 3 was very relaxed with a short walk to the bat cave led by Chilly. Everyone was very helpful when one of our phones got lost on the ferry back to the main land and it was promptly delivered back to Hanoi the next morning. We went on one of the day boat trips which included kayaking around the islands and a very tasty lunch on board. Thanh is an excellent host and was very helpful booking our tour and travel around the island. Tin our tour guide was very engaged with our small group and provided lots of interesting info about the island and the surrounding areas and people.Everyone spoke very good english. The only downside was the road to get to the village from the port was under construction which made getting to the port for tours a bit of a pain but the travel company help you and take you on golf buggy’s the entire distanceLess
