Full day: Discover Lan Ha Bay 1 Day Tour By Boat (Lunch) April 20, 2024

8:00 - 8:30 Our bus will pick you up at your hotel in Cat Ba town along the way to Ben Beo Pier.

8:30 We will arrive at Ben Beo Pier and our tour guide will give you the entrance tickets for Lan Ha Bay and HaLong bay. The tickets are included in the tour price.

8:35 Board the boat to Lan Ha bay. At first the boat will sail around Lan Ha Bay. The bay itself is spectacular, with towers of limestone rocks rising from the sea, passing by Cai Beo Fishing Village which is the most traditional fishing village in the north of Vietnam. It is also one of the biggest floating villages in Cat Ba and continues sailing to thousands of karst towers with many unique shapes (chopsticks and seals).

10:30 We will discover the lagoon natural area belonging to Lan Ha bay by kayaking through Dark and Bright Caves, tunnels, and archways. This is the most beautiful lagoon in Lan Ha Bay for kayaking activities and also the conservation area. If you are lucky you will see Cat Ba langurs (Golden-headed monkey)

12:30 The boat drops anchor at the border of Lan Ha Bay and Ha Long bay for lunch.

The lunch is freshly cooked and served in Vietnamese style by the local crews on board (vegetarian dishes for a choice). Enjoy lunch while cruising through magnificent Halong Bay, admiring the fascinating rock formations in the bay.

13:30 Afterwards, the boat continues to sail off Southern Ha Long bay

14:30 Swimming and jumping from the boat at Ba Trai Dao Beach which is very natural, remote, quiet and less-touristy. We can discover the temple beach, more lagoons and arches.

15:00 After swimming, we will visit a local fish farm where you will see how local fishermen live on the water and how they farm the fish

15:30 Our boat will be cruising back to the pier. Enjoy the magical sunset as the boat comes back to the harbor.

16:30 Drop you off at your hotels in Cat Ba town.

Amazing tour! Lan Ha Bay is truly natural, quiet, and beautiful! Luckily, when the boat stopped at Ba Trai Dao Beach for swimming, it was sunny, and we were well-prepared with towels afterward. Our guide was excellent, a solid 10/10. He answered all of our questions. Thanks a lot!

The best day for us! Our tour guide, Than, provided us with a lot of information about Lan Ha Bay and took great care of us. Kayaking and swimming were so cool. The weather was quite cold, but there was still a little sunshine in the afternoon. Highly recommended!

Our one-day cruise in Lan Ha Bay was simply an unforgettable experience. We were a small group of only a dozen people that day, so it was a really relaxed and family atmosphere. We explored the caves by kayaks, went swimming and visited one of the fish farms. Many, many thanks to our guide Ryan, who made this day perfect with his explanations and charming sense of humor. We enjoyed it a lot.

My husband and I were on an excursion in Lan Ha Bay with a very cool and fun company Beka travel. We liked everything very much, an interesting trip, kayaking, swimming in the sea, riding SUP boards, a delicious lunch, and of course amazing views. We booked a 1-day tour of Lan Ha Bay and Ha Long Bay through Beka Travel's office. There were five of us, and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The boat was spacious, our guide was friendly and experienced, providing us with a lot of information about Lan Ha Bay and Cat Ba Island. Recommended 100%!!

Super fun day trip in Lan Han Bay !!!I loved this trip all around. Tang was a wonderful guide from the first moment when he picked us up. Through out the day we learned about the country and the region. Would stay and travel with them all the time!
